Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of machinery.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food processing technology.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a food production environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
- Food and Beverage Manufacturing
- 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
- Electrical Installation
- Boiler Certification
Machines & technologies you'll use:
